DIY Chair Rail Accent Wall

It is so crazy how much an accent wall can change the whole look to a room! The slider room was missing something to make it feel unique and like a separate space in my house. I was inspired by Angela Rose Home to do this color and I love it! Home Depot doesn’t sell it, so we found the paint at Ace Hardware! The wall really didn’t take very long, the prep work is usually what takes the longest!

Once we measured the wall we could figured how we were going to divide it up, it was just a game of math to make sure they were even blocks on the wall.

This was the wood that we used. We probably could have found a cheaper wood, it did get kind of pricey because it was priced per foot.

Once the boards were up, we filled all the nail holes with wood putty, sanded them down and painted it! The green color made such a great statement in here and its absolutely what the space needed!
